Who We Are

We are a dedicated team of activists centered in the Bay Area. We work to aid victims of domestic abuse by supporting women’s shelters all throughout the United States. Passionate about solving the root of the problem, we also extend our efforts into third-world countries by working in partnership with underprivileged all-girls schools in order to foster a new generation of powerful women. Visit our 2021 Initiatives page to learn more.

Recently, we also St. Sebastian’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Uganda, which offers free treatment to widows and victims of domestic abuse. Visit out 2022 Initiatives page to learn more.

Our Inspiration

Motivated by the incredible opportunities that surround us here in California, we discovered that this is not the case for numerous other children throughout the world. Oftentimes, victims of domestic abuse are forced to return to their abusers for financial support, a consequence of financial dependence on the partner. Though we strive to support local domestic shelters with our funds, we also work to execute at the root of this problem.

After learning about the disproportionate access to education experienced by many women in developing countries, we initiated computer science programs in Indian all-girls schools by providing them with laptops and tablets.

We also learned that women, especially widows and victims of domestic violence, often have trouble obtaining access to adequate medical care. To resolve this issue in Uganda, we also built St. Sebastian’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Namengo, Uganda.

Our Hopes

We recognize that it is imperative to provide our wholehearted support to those who have already suffered from violence, including those who are unable to access proper healthcare, as well as young girls who may not have access to a strong education, putting them at risk for becoming financially dependent on future partners.

Our hope is that by providing healthcare access and promoting technological literacy in third-world countries, we are able to leave a profound impact on the lives of these bright, young women — and empower them to live healthy, independent lives.
